Andrew Nuss manages day-to-day marketing and communications for TSG. Since joining in 2009, Nuss has helped create global awareness for TSG by highlighting the synergies of the firm’s expertise and unparalleled data (the theme of TSG’s tagline which he helped bring to fruition). Using his marketing prowess, Andrew has utilized countless strategies and tactics to help grow TSG’s client base, which includes many Fortune 500 companies. He focuses heavily on marketing and sales tactics, email marketing initiatives, social media exposure, web site management, and conference partnerships.

Nuss is Editor-in-Chief of TSG’s weekly newsletter, NewsFilter, which is distributed to over 40,000 recipients inside and outside of the payments industry. NewsFilter has often been cited by industry executives as their go-to for critical industry news and insights.

Additionally, Nuss has helped market several new industry-first products, including Acquiring Industry Metrics (AIM) and Gateway Enterprise Metrics (GEM). AIM is now populated with $1 Trillion in financial data from nearly half of all card accepting merchants in the U.S. market. In 2016, TSG launched its Gateway Enterprise Metrics (GEM) product, which measures the performance of credit and debit card transactions. The tool is now used by the companies that account for over 60% of all eCommerce transactions in the U.S.

Nuss was honored in the Electronic Transactions Association’s (ETA) 2020 class of Forty Under 40, which recognizes young leaders and gamechangers in the payments industry. He was also honored in ETA’s inaugural class of Young Payments Professionals (YPP) in 2017. Presently, he is a member of ETA’s Communications Committee. Nuss completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) as a Marketing Major with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) along with a Minor in Accounting, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He resides in Omaha with his wife, Kristin, and dog, Ellie. He enjoys traveling to new places and is an avid marine aquarium hobbyist.
