Sibusiso Mthimkulu

Sibusiso Mthimkulu has held various roles in the field of product design and user experience. Sibusiso started their career as a Junior Art Director at the Museum of African Design, where they created marketing collateral and conducted location photography for businesses in the Maboneng Precinct. Sibusiso then worked as a Freelance Art Director and Web Designer at S. Mthimkulu Brand Architects, where they developed branding concepts and created brand collateral for clients.

In 2018, Sibusiso joined the Red & Yellow Creative School of Business as an Assistant Lecturer, teaching User Centered Design. Sibusiso later took on the role of Academic Product User Experience & Project Manager, providing user research and design recommendations for the school's learning management platform.

In 2020, Sibusiso worked as a UX/UI Designer for an undisclosed company, where they focused on creating effective user interfaces. Sibusiso also served as a Creative Director & Senior UX/UI Designer at Bertobase - Digital Mavericks. In this role, they oversaw design projects and led the development of user-centered design solutions.

Prior to that, from the year 2019 to 2019, Sibusiso attended Red & Yellow Creative School of Business and obtained an Advanced Diploma in User Centered Design, with a focus on Research Methodology and Quantitative Methods. Before that, from 2012 to 2014, Sibusiso studied at City Varsity and earned a National Diploma in Multimedia and Production, specializing in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia.
