Jodi Hanel

Director Of Development at The Studio Museum in Harlem

Jodi Hanel has a diverse work experience in the art and museum industry. Jodi started their career as a Curatorial Intern at Exit Art in 1996 and later became an Assistant Curator and then an Associate Curator. In 2007, they joined Queens Museum as the Director of Development and later served as the Co-Interim Director. In 2015, they worked as the Head of Administration at the Grey Art Gallery, New York University. Since 2016, Hanel has been associated with The Studio Museum in Harlem, initially as the Associate Director of Development and then taking on the role of Interim Director, Institutional Advancement.

Jodi Hanel completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Art History from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1995.
