Alexander Culpepper

Alexander Culpepper, PG, currently serves as Vice President of Corporate Business Development at Sunrock, a position held since May 2019, where responsibilities include driving organizational growth, enhancing market presence, and developing partnerships. Prior roles at Sunrock include Corporate Business Development Manager and Environmental Manager, focusing on strategic business development and environmental compliance, respectively. Previously, Alexander was the Environmental Manager at Cypress Creek Renewables, overseeing environmental consultants and permit acquisition for solar projects. An earlier position as Senior Environmental Analyst at S&ME, Inc. involved conducting environmental assessments and remediation system designs. Alexander began the professional journey as a technician and intern in construction services and surveying. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Geology from East Carolina University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Alexander was awarded the S&ME John R. Browning, PE Young Professional of the Year in 2015.
