Cornelius Cheatham

Cornelius Cheatham is an experienced construction professional with a diverse background in project management and engineering. Currently serving as a Construction Estimator and Assistant Project Manager at Carolina Sunrock LLC since February 2019, Cheatham oversees daily project operations and payment estimates. Previous roles include Project Manager at Fort Myer Construction Corporation, where responsibilities involved utility relocation and project rehabilitation, as well as various positions with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, including Office Engineer and Resident Engineer, managing large teams and overseeing significant construction projects. Additional experience includes founding and leading Clean City LLC and contributions as a Project Engineer at VMS Inc. and Newport News Shipbuilding, alongside an engineering assistant role with the North Carolina Department of Transportation. Cheatham holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
