Merijn de Waard

Merijn de Waard is the Founder and Director of SuperYacht Times, established in January 2005, and has successfully transformed the company into a leading media organization in the superyacht industry, attracting over 3.2 million unique website visitors annually and boasting a significant social media presence. In addition to this role, Merijn serves as the Director of YachtEye, an infotainment system for superyachts, and as an Advisor to the Board for The Superyacht Life Foundation. Merijn previously founded and directed SuperYacht Gallery, a luxury exposition focused on the superyacht lifestyle, and completed a training period at Ciris Capital. Educationally, Merijn holds a degree from Inholland University of Applied Sciences, complemented by earlier studies at Petrus Canisius College.
