Theo Hooning

Theo Hooning is the Founder and Managing Director of Hooning Association Managers, established in April 2004, specializing in serving associations, foundations, and cooperations through various operational and strategic roles. Hooning has held the position of Secretary General for the Superyacht Builders Association (SYBAss) since February 2007 and for The Superyacht Life Foundation since January 2017, focusing on the advancement and perception of the superyacht industry. Additionally, Hooning serves as an Advisor to the Board of the Water Revolution Foundation, which is dedicated to ecological preservation, and as Treasurer of the Superyacht Alliance for Professional Standards, promoting industry professionalism. Prior experience includes directing the Car and Truck Department at RAI Vereniging from September 1992 to March 2004. Hooning's academic background includes a Post-Academic Course in Association Management and a Master's degree in Business Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
