Marcel van de Pol

Marcel van de Pol has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. 💡Marcel worked as a Team Lead & Project Manager for Medical Devices at The Surgical Company PTM from February 2023. Prior to that, they owned their own design business called Kurn starting from June 2021. Marcel also served as an Operatieassistent i.o. at Ziekenhuis St Jansdal from March 2022 to October 2022.

Before that, Marcel held multiple roles at The Surgical Company PTM, including R&D Project Manager and R&D Engineer for Medical Devices from October 2020 to February 2022 and November 2017 to October 2020, respectively. 💡Marcel also worked as a Technisch Tekenaar at Breman Installatiegroep from January 2017 to October 2017.

Marcel's earlier experiences include working as a Sales Consultant at Expert (Nederlandse Expert Groep) from November 2014 to December 2016 and as a Graduate Student at Gemeente Delft from February 2014 to August 2014. In addition, they worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer from 2012 to August 2014 and as a Shop Assistant at Ahold from 2006 to 2009.

Marcel van de Pol earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology in 2012. 💡Marcel then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Integrated Product Design from the same institution, which they completed in 2014. In 2015, Marcel attended Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physiotherapy in 2016. Additionally, Marcel has obtained several certifications, including Scrum Theorie and HTML/CSS Advanced from Bit Academy, ISO 14971:2019 from Qserve Group, AgilePM® Foundation from APMG International, and Supplier Audits from Udo Consultancy.
