Kevin Chuc

Kevin Chuc has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kevin started their career as a Galaxy Explorers Intern at the Chabot Space & Science Center, where they conducted science demonstrations and participated in outreach events. Kevin then worked as a Scholar Intern at the California Department of Education.

In 2010, Kevin took on roles at the ASUCD Picnic Day, serving as a Technical Director and later as Vice Chair. Kevin managed the allocation of audio and communication equipment, oversaw the campus open house event, and coordinated safety and emergency protocols.

Kevin also worked at UC Davis East Asian Studies as a Peer Adviser, assisting fellow students with their course selections and academic goals. At UC Davis Academic Technology Services, they served as a Student Assistant, ensuring that audio and visual equipment in classrooms were in working condition and assisting with installations.

Kevin's next role was as a Research Assistant at Humintell, where they organized and ran behavioral research, maintained office operations, and analyzed collected data.

Kevin'smost recent position is at The Surplus Line Association of California, where they have held various roles since 2014. Currently, Kevin is the Assistant Vice President, responsible for the overall operations and management of the Data Analysis department. Kevin provides direction and guidance on policies, staff planning, and performance management. Previously, they served as a Lead Analyst and a Data Analyst within the same organization.

Kevin Chuc completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and East Asian Studies at the University of California, Davis from 2008 to 2012. Kevin then pursued higher education at the University of California, Davis - Graduate School of Management, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from 2019 to 2022. In addition to their academic achievements, Kevin Chuc also obtained several certifications in insurance services and risk management, including the Associate in Risk Management-ERM, Associate in Insurance Services, and Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance, all from The Institutes.
