Amman Johal

Amman Johal serves as a Senior Manager and Programme Manager focusing on Building Safety at the Greater London Authority since July 2019. In this role, Amman chairs the GLA Wellbeing Network, leading initiatives related to staff wellbeing during the Covid-19 pandemic. Prior experience includes positions at Sweaty Betty Foundation and Restless Development, where Amman oversaw volunteer recruitment and training efforts. Amman has also held roles at UCL, Save the Children UK, and the Big Lottery Fund, contributing to the management and development of various volunteering and grant programmes. With a background in Psychology from Nottingham Trent University, Amman has demonstrated a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and community engagement throughout a diverse career in both non-profits and educational settings.
