Marie Eriksson

Marie Eriksson has worked in the field of legal affairs and patent law throughout their career. Marie started in 1986 as a Lawyer in the Legal Division at the Swedish Patent and Registration Office. Marie then progressed to the role of Head of the International Section before becoming the Head of the Legal Division in 1996. In 2000, they joined WIPO as a Senior Legal Officer. Finally, in 2002, they became the Head of Legal Affairs and Patent Department at PRV, leading a team of lawyers and technical experts, and being part of the management team.

Marie Eriksson attended Stockholm University from 1981 to 1986, where they pursued a degree in law. Marie successfully completed their studies and earned the title of lawyer upon graduation. Their field of study throughout their time at the university was focused on law.
