Per Karlsson

Per Karlsson is an experienced patent engineer with a comprehensive background in telecommunications and wireless sensor networks. Since January 2007, Per has worked at PRV, advancing from Patentexpert in 2013 to Beslutande Patentexpert in 2014. Prior to this role, Per co-founded PAR Communication AB, focusing on research that led to the development of a communication module for trade fairs. As a Ph.D. student at Jönköping University, Per researched energy-efficient coding and transmission and previously conducted a master's thesis on underwater communication systems at FOI. Educational credentials include a Master's in Electrical Engineering from Mid Sweden University, a Ph.D. in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Linköping University, and training in Solar Energy Technology from Jönköping University.
