Vern Tigges has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. Vern began their career as a Videographer at KGAN TV in 1987 and worked there until 1990. Vern then joined Metro Mobile, LLC as VP/General Manager, where they were responsible for managing nationwide business and financial operations. During their time there, they successfully coordinated numerous events for prominent clients such as ESPN, ABC, NBC, Fox Sports, and the Atlanta Olympic Committee. In 1999, Vern became the President/CEO of LTF Mobile Technologies, LLC, a start-up firm specializing in manufacturing mobile production units for the television industry. After that, they worked as a Sales Representative at 5th Avenue Lumber from 2002 to 2010 and as an Outside Sales Representative at Carter Lumber from March to December 2012. Additionally, Vern owned and operated Kingston Hardwoods from December 2012 to 2014, where they provided domestic hardwoods, flooring, and reclaimed barn wood to builders and craftsmen in Central Ohio. From 2015 to the present, they have been working at Kingston Tec. as a Video Operator and Sports Broadcast Engineer, handling a wide range of events, from bull riding to talk shows, political events to NASCAR races, and even World Series and NFL playoff games. Finally, Vern is currently employed at The Switch as a Mobile Unit Engineer and has recently taken on the role of Project Manager since January 2021.
Vern Tigges began their education by attending the University of Dubuque in 1985 and continued until 1986. The field of study during this period is unknown. Afterwards, they pursued a degree in Communications at the University of Iowa, from 1987 to 1989.
