Mark Alexander serves as the Vehicle Operations Coordinator at The Tank Museum since June 2022. With a distinguished 36-year career in the British Army, Mark held various roles, including SO2 Maintenance Plans at HQ Allied Rapid Reaction Corps, where responsibilities included maintenance planning and logistics information system development. Other significant positions included Officer Commanding Support Squadron and Senior Engineer for 1st Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Brigade, focusing on equipment support and operational deployment. Mark's extensive technical training in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, combined with experience managing high-value military equipment, underscores a strong foundation in engineering and leadership within military operations.

The Tank Museum, Bovington, UK, holds the finest and most historically significant collection of fighting armour in the world. Unrivalled in scope and depth, the Museum cares for 300 vehicles from 26 nations. These range from `Little Willie`, the world’s first tank, through to the British Army’s current Main Battle Tank, Challenger 2. The Tank Museum holds it annual TANKFEST event, on the last weekend in June. This incredible spectacular is the world’s best display of moving armour.
