Bezuayehu Mandefro currently serves as the CARESAFE Project Manager at The Task Force for Global Health, Inc., focusing on the evaluation of COVID-19 vaccine safety and efficacy in low to middle-income countries since September 2021. Previously, Bezuayehu worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator III in the Emory University Division of Infectious Diseases, managing COVID-19 vaccine clinical trials. Other notable positions include Clinical Research Coordinator II at Winship Cancer Institute, where project management for clinical trials was conducted, and Clinical Research Coordinator I at Emory University School of Medicine, where Bezuayehu led a psychosocial study on lupus among African American women. Bezuayehu holds a Master’s degree in International Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Georgia State University.
