Catherine Southgate

Catherine Southgate is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Interim Chief Financial Officer and Group Financial Controller at The Telegraph since September 2021, Catherine is also a Governor at John Lyon School, contributing to the Finance & General Purpose and Estates Committees. Previous positions include Group Head of Finance at JPIMedia and Johnston Press, as well as Group Financial Controller at BAA/Heathrow and Divisional CFO at CMP Information. Catherine began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Manager. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from RMIT University and is a fellow and associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia.
