Ciro Rizzo has extensive work experience in technology and engineering roles. Ciro is currently the Head of Technology & Engineering - Platforms at The Telegraph, where they are responsible for managing the engineering activities and projects within the organization. Ciro joined The Telegraph in 2016 as an Engineering Manager for the Mobile Team and later became an Engineering Manager for the Platform Team. Prior to their role at The Telegraph, Ciro worked as a Senior Application Developer at QVC in 2016. From 2014 to 2016, they were the Lead Android Developer at Insane Logic Limited. Ciro also has experience at RCS S.p.A. as a Project Manager Mobile and Technical Expert from 2009 to 2014. Ciro worked as a Solution Architect at Tykelab srl from 2012 to 2013 and as a Mobile Expert at BitTime from 2009 to 2012. Earlier in their career, Ciro worked at Trilog S.p.A. as an SAP CRM Senior Consultant and Project Leader from 2005 to 2009 and as a Project Manager at Heineken from 2008 to 2009. Ciro was also self-employed as a Project Manager during this time.
Ciro Rizzo holds an Engineer's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, where they studied from 1991 onwards. Prior to that, they completed their 60/60 degree in Information Technology at I.T.I.S. A. Volta - Naples from 1988 to 1991. Before that, they obtained an IT Expert degree in Information Technology from I.T.I.S. L. Galvani - Giugliano, where they studied from 1986 to 1988. In terms of additional certifications, Ciro has completed various courses on leadership, artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, API design, REST APIs, and programming mobile services for Android handheld systems.
