Michael Smith has a strong work experience in analytics and business intelligence roles. Michael started their career as a Deputy Manager at William Hill in 2005. Michael then worked as a Reconciliation Analyst at American Express from 2008 to 2010. In 2011, they joined L'Oréal as an Accounts Reconciliation Analyst. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Marketing Optimization Analyst at Betfair. Michael then joined British Airways as a Marketing Effectiveness Analyst from 2013 to 2014. From 2014 to 2019, they worked at Avios Group Limited, starting as a Senior Insight Analyst, then moving to the role of Senior Insight Manager, and finally becoming the Business Intelligence Lead. Since 2019, they have been working at The Telegraph, initially as a Senior Analytics Manager for Subscriptions and currently as the Head of Subscription Analytics and Forecasting. In their roles, they have led teams, developed analytics strategies, delivered insights and analysis, and worked closely with stakeholders to achieve growth targets.
Michael Smith attended Oxford Brookes University from 2003 to 2008, where they earned a Bsc Hons degree in Mathematics and Statistics.
