Philippa Law has extensive work experience in media, journalism, and audience engagement. Philippa currently works as the Head of Community at The Telegraph, where they have devised and implemented strategies to bring the publication closer to its audience. Philippa has also served as the Head of Newsroom Innovation, generating and testing ideas for editorial innovations and new subscription products. Prior to their work at The Telegraph, Philippa worked at Associated Press as the Social Media & UGC Editor, leading global social media newsgathering efforts and providing editorial leadership for innovation projects. Philippa also held positions at BBC, including Technology Engagement Editor and Producer, where they facilitated collaborations and developed innovative content experiences. Additionally, they worked at Guardian News & Media as the Community & Social Editor for GuardianWitness, a user-generated content platform. Philippa's work experience also includes research as part of their Ph.D. project at Queen Mary, University of London, and roles at the BBC as a Senior Producer, Assistant Producer, and Researcher.

Philippa Law attended the University of Cambridge from 1997 to 2001, where they studied German & Linguistics and earned a BA degree. Philippa went on to pursue further studies in Linguistics at Queen Mary University of London, completing their PhD from 2009 to 2013. In 2001 to 2002, Philippa Law also obtained an MA from Goldsmiths, University of London, specializing in Radio.
