Serena Davies has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of culture, events, and media. Serena is currently with The Telegraph as the Culture Director, a role they assumed in January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Culture and Events at The Telegraph from September 2018 to September 2023.

Before joining The Telegraph, Serena worked at Glyndebourne as the Head of Press and PR from November 2016 to August 2018. Serena also had a long tenure with the Telegraph Media Group, where they held various positions such as Deputy Head of Culture, Arts and TV Editor, Deputy TV and Radio Editor, and Commissioning Editor, TV and Radio. Their time at Telegraph Media Group spanned from August 2007 to October 2016.

Serena started their career as a freelance arts writer and critic in 2004, contributing to publications like The Observer, The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Telegraph, and more. Serena also served as the Editor of The Yoke Magazine in 2002 and worked as an Editor at Whatsonwhen Ltd from 1999 to 2001. Serena began their professional journey in 1997 as an Account Manager at Theo Woodham Smith PR.

Throughout their career, Serena has showcased their expertise and passion for the arts and has made significant contributions to the media industry.

Serena Davies earned a Master's degree in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art, U. of London in 1997. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Oxford, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Modern History in 1996.
