Lead Teacher at The Telling Room

Kathryn Williams is an accomplished educator and author with extensive experience in the literary field. Currently serving as the Lead Teacher at The Telling Room, a nonprofit community writing center for young writers, Kathryn leads the Young Emerging Authors fellowship program and co-leads the after-school program, Writers Block. Additionally, Kathryn has authored several young adult novels, including "The Storyteller" and "Pizza, Love, and Other Stuff That Made Me Famous." As the founder and Editorial Director of Aerial Publishing, Kathryn developed YA and middle-grade fiction with multimedia potential. Previous roles include blogging for Barnes & Noble and SparkLife, as well as editorial positions at Sideshow Media and Newsweek. Kathryn holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Sewanee School of Letters and a BA in English from The University of the South.
