Marjolaine Whittlesey

Marjolaine Whittlesey serves as the Education Manager and Teaching Artist at The Telling Room since October 2013, having progressed from Programs Intern to Lead Teaching Artist. Whittlesey has extensive performance experience across various theater companies from 2009 to the present, including notable roles with the Good Theater, Portland Stage Company, and The Theater at Monmouth. Additionally, Marjolaine has freelance experience as an actor and has led French workshops for learners of all ages since 2012. Educationally, Marjolaine holds a BA in Human Ecology from the College of the Atlantic and an MA in French, North American Studies from the University of Maine, along with various theater training programs. Marjolaine's diverse roles in education, theater, and cultural advocacy underscore a commitment to the arts and language.
