Kirsten Fiscus

Kirsten Fiscus is an experienced journalist with a focus on breaking news reporting. Currently serving as a breaking news reporter for the Tennessean since March 2022, Kirsten previously worked as a reporter and photographer for the Montgomery Advertiser from July 2018 to February 2022, and at The Anniston Star from May 2015 to July 2018. Earlier experience includes freelance reporting for The Tuscaloosa News and roles such as a bartender at Hilton Garden Inn and staff photographer for Dateline Alabama. Kirsten holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Arts in Photojournalism from the same institution.
