Nicole Hester

Nicole Hester is a skilled photojournalist with experience in various media outlets, currently serving as a Staff Photojournalist at the Tennessean since February 2022. Prior roles include Statewide Photographer at MLive.com from July 2020 to April 2023, and Staff Photographer at The Natchez Democrat from February 2016 to July 2019. Nicole began a career in photography with positions as a Photo Intern at Hays Daily News in 2013 and as a Staff Photographer for The Daily Egyptian during college. Additional experience includes sales at Pacific Sunwear and mentoring as a Resident Assistant at Southern Illinois University. Nicole holds a Bachelor's degree in Photojournalism from Southern Illinois University, obtained in 2013.
