Vivian Jones

Vivian Jones is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in government reporting and communications. Currently serving as a State Government and Politics Reporter for the Tennessean since April 2023, Vivian previously worked as a Government Reporter for Main Street Media of Tennessee from February 2021 to April 2023. Prior to this, positions included Staff Reporter at The Center Square, Radio Correspondent at WORLD Radio, and Legislative Assistant for the Tennessee General Assembly, where legislative tracking and constituent communication were key responsibilities. Vivian also held the role of Communications Director at The Philos Project, overseeing various communication initiatives. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Politics and German from Hillsdale College and participation in multiple journalism programs, including the Poynter-Koch Journalism Fellowship.
