Andres L. has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Andres currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at The Tennessee Credit Union since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Interim Chief Financial Officer and VP of Accounting & Finance at Keesler Federal Credit Union from January 2020 to October 2022. Andres was also the Vice President - Controller at University Credit Union - Miami from November 2018 to January 2020.
Before that, Andres held the position of Director of Accounting/Controller at Kern Schools Federal Credit Union from January 2015 to October 2018. Andres started their career at Dade County Federal Credit Union, where they worked as a Special Project Coordinator from July 2014 to January 2015.
Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Finance at Nutmeg State Federal Credit Union from June 2012 to July 2014. Andres began their career in the financial industry as a Personal Banker at Bank of America from June 2000 to October 2005. Throughout their career, Andres has demonstrated expertise in financial management, accounting, strategic planning, and team leadership.
Andres L. pursued their education at Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained their MBA degree in Accounting. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2005, they attended Devry University in Miramar, FL and earned their Bachelor's degree in Business of Science with a field of study in Accounting. In addition to their academic degrees, they also obtained a certification as a Certified Fraud Examiner from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners in February 2012.
