Jeff Albers

Jeff Albers is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as Chairman of Blueprint Medicines, Albers also holds positions as Venture Partner at Atlas Venture and Board Member at both Kymera Therapeutics and Spyre Therapeutics. Previously, Albers was the Chief Executive Officer of Blueprint Medicines from 2014 to 2022 and served as President of Algeta ASA, where responsibilities included managing the US operations for a cancer treatment launch. Albers has held notable roles at Genzyme, including Vice President of US Hematology & Oncology and Sr. Director of Corporate Development. Earlier in the career, Albers worked as an Associate at Mintz Levin and a Professional Healthcare Representative at Pfizer. Albers holds an MBA from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, a JD from Georgetown University Law Center, and a BS in Marketing from Indiana University Bloomington.
