Paul Fonteyne is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Currently serving as an Independent Director at Apellis, Amylyx, Apnimed, and Ypsomed AG, Paul has also held leadership roles at Covetrus and as an Executive in Residence at Canaan Partners since January 2019. Prior to these positions, Paul served as the Chairman and President of Animal Health at Boehringer Ingelheim USA, and as Country Managing Director, President, and CEO of Boehringer Ingelheim USA. Paul's prior experience includes significant roles at Merck and Abbott Laboratories. Paul earned an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business.
