Patrick Kelly has extensive work experience in the chemical distribution industry. Patrick started their career in 1990 as the Director of Sales at Ashland Distribution. In 2005, they joined Dowd and Guild as Vice President and later became the President of the company in 2018. Currently, Patrick holds the position of Executive Vice President Principal Development and Marketing at Terra Firma since 2023.
Patrick Kelly attended Miami University from 1986 to 1987, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.

Terra Firma is a privately held, “bespoke” national specialty chemicals distributor with a regional focus. We thoughtfully cover the United States by recognizing the nuanced differences within the Northeastern, Southeastern, Southwestern, Midwestern, and Western geographies. Our company services over 2,900 active customers with technically trained sales personnel, whom we call “Solutions Executives.” We staff our operation centers with experienced and dedicated customer service, supply chain, and accounting personnel, whom we affectionately call “Service Ambassadors.” They utilize over a dozen order fulfillment centers throughout our geography to allow for same or next day delivery to almost every customer. Collectively, we hope to be the solid ground between our suppliers’ technologies and our customers’ innovative products.
