Caroline Barker has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Caroline started their career as a Personal Assistant for Miriam Margolyes in 1998. After that, they worked as an Executive Assistant for Ginger Television from 1999 to 2000. Caroline then transitioned to the BBC, where they held various roles including Assistant Producer, Production Assistant, and Personal Assistant and Rights Assistant for BBC Sport. At the BBC, they managed multi-platform campaigns, organized events, and liaised with key stakeholders. In 2009, Caroline joined Terrence Higgins Trust as a Marketing Officer, and later progressed to the roles of Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing. In this position, they were responsible for strategic marketing activity and produced award-winning campaigns. Overall, Caroline has demonstrated a strong background in marketing, event management, and stakeholder relations.
Caroline Barker pursued a BA (Hons) degree in History of Art at Monash University. Caroline then went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Art Curatorial Studies at the University of Melbourne.
