Mahesh Chikane

Mahesh Chikane has a diverse work experience in the field of software testing. Mahesh is the Founder & CEO of The Test Tribe, which they started in January 2018 as a passion project aimed at promoting and supporting the software testing craft. The Test Tribe has grown to become India's largest software testing community with a global reach. As Founder Tribal, Mahesh has organized over 110 online and offline events, including conferences, meetups, workshops, hackathons, webinars, and more.

Prior to their role at The Test Tribe, Mahesh worked at Zycus, where they held various management positions. Mahesh served as the Principal Test Manager from July 2018 to April 2021, overseeing the testing process and ensuring quality assurance. Before that, they were the Senior QA Manager from July 2016 to June 2018 and the Quality Assurance QA Manager from June 2014 to June 2016. Mahesh started their career at Zycus as a Software Tester / Software Test Engineer in November 2010 and gradually progressed to roles such as Test Lead and Associate Test Lead.

Overall, Mahesh Chikane has demonstrated a strong passion for software testing and has gained extensive experience in both managerial and technical roles throughout their career.

From 2006 to 2010, Mahesh Chikane attended Savitribai Phule Pune University and earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Information Technology.
