The Texas Tribune
Jayme Lozano is a dedicated journalist with extensive reporting experience in Texas. Currently serving as a High Plains Reporter for The Texas Tribune since June 2022, Jayme has previously worked as a News Reporter at Texas Tech Public Media from January 2021 to May 2022, covering stories for the NPR station in Lubbock. Prior to that, Jayme held positions as a Regional Reporter and Copy Editor/Reporter at the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal from May 2017 to January 2021. Education includes an Associate's degree in Journalism from South Plains College (2011-2014) and further studies at Texas Tech University (2015-2017).
