Pu Ying Huang is an experienced photo editor currently working at Texas Tribune since February 2022. Prior to this role, Pu Ying Huang was a freelance photojournalist from September 2017 to February 2022, with work featured in numerous prominent publications including the Houston Chronicle, Reuters, and Vice News. Pu Ying Huang's earlier experience includes a multimedia internship at KUT Public Media, where responsibilities involved shooting and editing news stories, and various editorial positions at The Daily Texan, which encompassed managing, designing, and photographing content. Additional experience includes collaborating with student reporters at Reporting Texas and assisting during New York Fashion Week for Crystal Schreiner Photography. Pu Ying Huang holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from The University of Texas at Austin, along with minors in Communication and Chinese.
