Ryan Murphy

Ryan Murphy has over a decade of experience in news applications and data reporting, primarily with The Texas Tribune since May 2010. In roles ranging from News Apps Developer to News Apps Team Lead, Ryan has been instrumental in maintaining the government employee salary database, managing open records requests, and facilitating various visualization and interactive projects. Prior experience includes serving as Web Editor for The Daily Texan and as a Fast Tex Student Developer at the Center for Teaching and Learning, where Ryan honed skills in web-based content development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Journalism in Multimedia Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin, earned in 2010.
