Joseph Pete is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in business reporting, currently serving as a Business Reporter for The Times of Northwest Indiana since June 2013. In this role, Joseph covers a broad range of topics including steel, unions, and economic development, while also writing the Sunday NWI Business Ins and Outs column. As a freelance reporter since January 2007, Joseph has contributed to several publications and remains open to new opportunities. Additionally, Joseph is an accomplished author, having published books such as "100 Things to Do in Gary and Northwest Indiana Before You Die" and "Secret Northwest Indiana: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure," along with "Lost Hammond, Indiana." Joseph has also engaged in public speaking across various organizations and has a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University Bloomington.
