Lizzie Kaboski

Lizzie Kaboski is a multifaceted professional with a strong background in journalism and public engagement. Currently serving as a Public Safety Reporter for The Times of Northwest Indiana since August 2022, Lizzie gathers information on breaking news, researches public safety trends, and builds relationships with law enforcement and community members. Parallelly, Lizzie teaches group exercise classes for the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago and previously for Indiana University Campus Recreational Sports. With experience as a freelance writer, Lizzie has contributed to various academic institutions and worked as a news intern at WFIU Public Radio, honing skills in multimedia storytelling and deadline-driven reporting. Lizzie has also held several editorial roles at the Indiana Daily Student, focusing on breaking news and community events. Academically, Lizzie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University Bloomington, completed in 2022.
