Mary Jane Grandinetti

Mary Jane Grandinetti is an experienced editor and content manager with a career spanning over four decades in journalism. Currently serving as the special sections editor at The Times of Northwest Indiana since May 2017, Grandinetti has developed the Southland Your Times project and oversees contributions from multiple writers. Previous roles include managing editor at Business Insurance magazine, communications specialist in freelance positions, and extensive experience as an editor and digital producer at the Chicago Tribune Media Group. Grandinetti began their career as a copy editor at the St. Paul Pioneer Press and has also worked as a media consultant for various clients. Holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Northwestern University, Grandinetti is recognized for strong communication skills and a keen editorial eye.
