Lin Tang

Lin Tang is an experienced Lean and Continuous Improvement Manager at The Timken Company since July 2014, where operational structures were established to enhance productivity and reduce costs significantly. Under Lin's leadership, the factory achieved a 100% increase in productivity, halved the scrap rate, reduced inventory days by one third, elevated on-time delivery from 88% to 98%, minimized customer complaints, maintained zero safety incidents, and lowered overall product costs by 20%. Prior to this role, Lin held various positions at Molex, including Senior Black Belt and Senior Production Engineer, and gained foundational experience in production management at SMIC and ON Semiconductor. Lin holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics and an Associate degree in Mechanical Equipment from Chengdu University.
