Liz Allen

Liz Allen is an experienced puppet fabricator with a strong background in the stop-motion animation industry, currently working at The Tiny Chef Life since April 2023. Freelance work as a character painter and silicone fabricator began in May 2018, focused on various projects predominantly in stop-motion animation. Previous roles include puppet fabrication at Bix Pix Entertainment for the Emmy-award-winning show Tumbleleaf, as well as positions at Screen Novelties and Shadow Machine Animation, involving silicone painting, seaming, and casting. Earlier career highlights include assistant silicon casting for Laika's Paranorman and rapid prototype maintenance for Coraline. Liz Allen holds a Bachelor of Art in Illustration, Animation, and Film from Syracuse University, earned in 2001.
