Mark Kimbrough has had a diverse range of work experiences over the years. Mark began their career at Signature Inns in 1989 as a Property Manager, where they stayed until 1995. In 1995, they moved on to Simon Property Group as an Operations Director, before transitioning to Flaherty & Collins Real Estate Services in 1996 as a Property Manager. Finally, in 1998, they joined The Townsend Corporation as Vice President of Safety & Training.

Mark Kimbrough earned their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Bob Jones University, where they studied from 1980 to 1985. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including as an Authorized OSHA Outreach Instructor (General Industry & Construction) from OSHA in October 2019, as a Certified Tree Care Safety Professional from the Tree Care Industry Association in October 2018, and as a Certified Utility Safety Professional from the Utility Safety & Operations Leadership Network in October 2015.
