Rob Pipho

Rob Pipho is an established jazz educator and performer with extensive experience in the music industry. Since 2004, Rob has served as Jazz Faculty at Wayne State University, where Rob also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Jazz/Jazz Studies between 1983 and 1987. In addition to teaching, Rob has worked as the House Pianist and Music Coordinator at Townsend Hotel since 2001 and has been an Independent Performer/Entertainer, Vibraphonist, and Pianist since 1981. From 1996 to 2009, Rob was the Music Director at Edison's Nightclub in Birmingham, Michigan, and collaborated with the City of Birmingham from 1997 to 1998 as the Music Director/Coordinator for the Birmingham Jazz Festival.
