Simon Liew

Simon Liew is a seasoned database engineer currently serving as a Staff Database Engineer at The Trade Desk since August 2021. Prior to this role, Simon was a Principal SQL Server Consultant at SQLsme from June 2013 to August 2021, specializing in SQL Server technology and delivering tailored solutions for both on-premise and Azure data platforms. A progressive career includes positions at BT Financial Group, where Simon advanced from Database Administrator to Solutions Designer, and experience as a Database Administrator for the NSW Police Force. Simon began in the IT field at SITA Software Pty Ltd and has held various developer roles, enhancing expertise in SQL Server, data migration, and business intelligence initiatives. Simon holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UPM.
