Nick Martin is an accomplished professional with extensive expertise in energy policy and climate strategy. Currently serving as the Director of Electrification at The Transition Accelerator since April 2023, Nick previously held the position of Senior Consultant at Dunsky Energy + Climate Advisors, where responsibilities included managing large-scale demand-side management studies and advising clients on emerging technologies' financial implications. Nick's career also encompasses roles as a Policy Analyst at the Canada West Foundation, where research focused on climate and energy policy, and as Executive Director of the Northeast Clean Heat and Power Initiative, where revenue growth and organizational restructuring were prioritized. Earlier experiences include research and intern positions that contributed to significant projects on climate change and energy in both the U.S. and India. Nick holds a Master's degree in Climate Science and Policy from Bard College and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health Science from The University of Georgia.
