Phillip Hall currently serves as the Principal Advisor for the Investment Management System at The Treasury in New Zealand, a position held since January 2024. Previously, Phillip was the Principal Advisor for Crown Entity Monitoring at Te Tūāpapa Kura Kāinga - Ministry of Housing and Urban Development NZ from August 2022 to December 2023. Prior roles include Associate Director in Risk Consulting at PwC, Principal Investment Advisor at NZ Transport Agency, and various positions within the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment and the Ministry of Social Development from 2014 to 2019. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy from Monash University, a Master of Analytics from Massey University, a Master of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arizona, and dual Bachelor’s degrees with Honors in Psychology and Economics from the University of Otago.
