Kevin Wong is an accomplished marketing and communications professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Marketing, Communications & Content at The Trevor Project since April 2018, Kevin previously held positions such as Vice President of Communications and Head of Communications within the same organization. Prior to this, Kevin worked at iHeartMedia from March 2012 to March 2018, where roles included Manager and Senior Associate in Marketing & Communications. Earlier career experiences include serving as Public Relations Supervisor and Coordinator at Six Flags from March 2009 to March 2012, and an internship at Pitch Control PR in 2007-2008. Kevin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Marketing, and Communications from The College of New Jersey in 2009.

The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Questioning) young people. The organization works to save young lives by providing support through free and confidential suicide prevention and crisis intervention programs on platforms where young people spend their time: our 24/7 phone lifeline, chat, text and soon-to-come integrations with social media platforms. We also run TrevorSpace, the world’s largest safe space social networking site for LGBTQ youth, and operate innovative education, research, and advocacy programs.
