Laura Kern

Laura Kern is an experienced Human Resources professional with a career spanning over a decade at Feed My Starving Children. As the Human Resources Director, Laura designs and implements strategies that foster organizational growth and mission fulfillment, overseeing recruitment, employee relations, policy compliance, compensation, training, and performance management. Prior roles include HR Manager, HR Project Manager, Human Resources Generalist, and Human Resources Assistant, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of HR functions and leadership. Additionally, Laura serves as a Volunteer Crisis Counselor for The Trevor Project, providing support to at-risk youth. Laura holds an M.A. in Human Resources & Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in Leadership Management and Human Resource Management from the University of St. Thomas.
