Mark Henson is a seasoned professional in advocacy and government affairs with a strong focus on public service. Currently serving as the Director of Federal Advocacy and Government Affairs at The Trevor Project since December 2023, Mark is dedicated to suicide prevention for LGBTQ+ youth. Previous experience includes roles as Staff Director for the US House of Representatives and Chief of Staff for Congressman Jim Himes, along with various campaign management positions. Mark's career began in 2006 with the MN DFL Coordinated Campaign as a Regional Field Director, and education was completed at Claremont McKenna College with a BA in Government.
