Lucy Finn

Lucy Finn is a manager at Kaiser Permanente. She leads Kaiser Permanente’s regional outreach program to ensure members are up to date on their preventive health screenings such as cancer screening and vaccinations. Starting work with Kaiser back in 2016, Lucy primarily supported the ongoing management of the PHASE program (Preventing Heart Attacks and Strokes Everyday), which provides population care to patients with Diabetes, Hypertension, and a history of heart attack or stroke.

After her undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University, Lucy went on to get a Masters of Public Health (MPH) from Columbia University where she studied health policy with a focus in health of an aging society. For her graduate interim project she worked at The San Francisco Department of Public Health in addition to working part time during school at AARP on the team lobbying for global rights for the elderly through work with the UN.

Lucy originally engaged with The Trust for Public Land back in 2007 as an intern in high school. Lucy’s early understanding of protecting land came from her childhood summer camp on Catalina Island. Located off the coast of Los Angeles, Catalina Island was deeded to the Nature Conservancy in 1975 by the Wrigley family. Working on the Island for 8 summers helped reinforce how important it is to maintain and protect undeveloped wilderness and to teach children about respecting and appreciating the outdoors.

When not at work, you can find Lucy skiing in Tahoe, watching a Giants baseball game, jogging in Golden Gate Park, or picking vegetables up in Sonoma.
