The Trust for Public Land
Roland is Vice President & Treasurer of Tufts Health Plan, where he has oversight of investment activity for the organization in addition to other corporate finance matters. He has also served as Treasurer of the Tufts Health Plan Foundation since its inception in 2008.
Prior to joining Tufts Health Plan in 1995, Roland held corporate finance positions with organizations in the hospitality and building material industries.
He previously served as a Board member and Treasurer of Tufts Health Care Institute, a collaboration of the health plan and Tufts University School of Medicine. He is also a past Board member of The Guidance Center, now part of Riverside Community Care. He received a B.S. in Management and Finance from Southern New Hampshire University and an MBA in Finance from Suffolk University.
Roland has lived in the Davis Square neighborhood of Somerville for over twenty five years, and enjoys cycling and travel.
