The Trusted Executive
Joanne Henney is an experienced leader currently serving as Chair of Governors at Wirral Metropolitan College and a Member of the Board of Trustees for Emmaus UK. Since April 2021, Joanne has held multiple roles, including Chair of School Governors at Kirkby High School and Trusted Executive Fellowship Board Member for The Trusted Executive Foundation. Joanne has been the Chair of Trustees for Emmaus Merseyside since February 2018 and has been an IoD Ambassador since April 2018. Joanne is the Chief Executive Officer at Nugent, where roles have included Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Governance Officer. Prior to these positions, Joanne was the Chief Operating Officer at The GEO Group UK Ltd from July 2006 to January 2019, overseeing multiple immigration removal centres and managing various operational and compliance aspects. Joanne's career began at G4S, where roles included Deputy Centre Manager and Prison Custody Officer.
